Anger Management

Anger is a natural emotion. But intermittent explosive behaviour includes repeated sudden outbursts impulsive, aggressive, violent action and verbal abuse) in which people reacts out of the proportion One should know how to channelise this emotion. Disproportiona te reaction to any situationor eventmay occurs through a single explos ion which often may be the outcome of earlier series of e vents o r experiences.

Causes of Anger Outbursts :

  • Poor frustration tolerance
  • Inability to handle differences of opinion or disagreement
  • Feeling of insecurity and threat.

Signs and Symptoms:

  • Shouting or screaming
  • Restlessness
  • Head banging, Self harming behaviour or harming others.
